Gilani all set to meet hostile Afghan leaders

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani is leaving for a two day visit of Afghanistan on Saturday (tomorrow) in which he will meet Afghan President Hamid Karzai, besides meeting anti-Pakistan Afghan leaders for the first time.
According to sources, Giliani will hold a one on one meeting with Afghan President Hamid Karzai at the Presidential Palace and later delegation level talks will be held. The prime minister will discuss the bilateral relations, cooperation in war against terror,
Pak-Afghan border situation, Afghan government dialogue with Taliban, security matters and the impact of WikiLeaks disclosures in the region with the Afghan president.
Gilani will meet former Afghan President Barhanuddinh Rabbani, Vic presidents Qasim Fahim, second Vice President Karim Khalili, Speaker Younas Kanooni and other anti Pakistan leaders to apprise them of Pakistan’s stance for improving Pak-Afghan ties and Pakistan’s role for establishing peace in Afghanistan.
