ISLAMABAD: Suspension of Naheed Khan’s membership is a great concern since she had rendered great sacrifices for the party, Member Central Executive Committee of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Aitzaz Ahsan said while talking to reporters on Tuesday.
“I am saddened by this decision since Naheed Khan was very close to Benazir Bhutto,” he said. Aitzaz also expressed concern about the government’s attitude about Benazir Bhutto’s assassination, adding that only tall claims had been made so far.
He also alleged that the Karsaz and Liaqat Bagh areas were washed immediately without the inquiry being completed under former dictator Pervaiz Musharraf’s orders, adding that an inquiry needed to be carried out in this regard.
