Aishwarya’s ‘love scene’ clause

MUMBAI: It seems speculations around Madhur Bhandarkar’s ambitious project ‘Heroine’ will never stop. The latest buzz doing the rounds is that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has shown keen interest in playing the lead in the film, which was first offered to Kareena Kapoor. However, the Bachchan bahu wants few changes in the script.
As per media reports Ash is all ready to sign the dotted line but wants Madhur to do away with the love making scenes in the film. But a possibility of Madhur complying seems very distant. A source close to the director tells that the director now might have to consider some one else altogether for ‘Heroine’ as changing the script might not sound as a good idea to him. “Madhur has incorporated all the vital elements in his script and the love making scenes are an important part.
He may not give in to the demand of changes in the script and rather opt for a different actress,” said the source. But as rumours continue to roll, the filmmaker out rightly denies reports of Ash being roped in for ‘Heroine’. Madhur says, “I am not in talks with Ash or any other actress about ‘Heroine’.
The project is on hold till ‘Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji’ releases in January 2011. I have just finished a 70 day schedule and I am now editing the film.” Madhur also clarifies that Ash demanding changes in the script is nothing more than a rumour. While signing off, the ace director also made it clear that he will not change his script to please anyone.
