PESHAWAR: A NATO oil supply tanker was completely destroyed in a bomb explosion on the Pak-Afghan Highway near Khyber Agency’s Jamrud tehsil, official and local sources said on Saturday.
According to a Khasadar Force official, the tanker carrying fuel for NATO forces in Afghanistan was destroyed when a bomb planted near the tankers went off. However, no casualties were reported.
Local source said the blast also destroyed several electricity transmission lines, suspending power supply to Landi tehsil of the agency.
