PESHAWAR: Yaqoob Khan, brother of former TTP chief Baitullah Mehsud, was found dead under mysterious circumstances in a mountainous region of Mir Ali town of North Waziristan.
Reports from Bannu district said that Khan’s mutilated body was found late on Sunday and had been taken to Shaktoyee area of South Waziristan for burial.
Later on Monday, reports said the body of a woman had also been discovered in area where Khan’s body had been found earlier. She was identified as Khan’s wife. Her body was shifted to Bannu cantonment.
