Over 43 suspected Afghan Taliban were arrested by the police on Thursday from Kuchlak, an area about 25 kilometres from the north of provincial capital of Balochistan.
Police sources said that during a raid headed by Quetta DIG Hamid Shakeel in Killi Nakhel, they picked up 43 people on the suspicion of them being linked to the Taliban.
They were brought to Quetta and are currently being interrogated here. Sources said that those who had any links with the Afghan Taliban would be handed over to intelligence agencies accordingly for further investigation, while the rest would be set free as per the laws.
