Recent reports have been surfacing that the drinking water in Lahore is contaminated. The authorities have been neglectful of this issue for a long time and unclean drinking water has been wreaking havoc with Lahoris health. Unclean drinking water has been the cause of many diseases such as typhoid, dengue etc. Clean drinking water is not an extravagance but rather a basic need of the people. Why it is so low on the governments priority list is beyond comprehension. We dont get clean air and clean water in this country. Nothings left to pollute now, is there?
