LAHORE: The Lahore Stock Exchange (LSE) suffered a decline in volume, as it stayed bullish on Monday. The LSE 25-shares index added 27.77 points to close at 3,272.18 against its opening at 3,244.41 levels.
Volume of the market declined by 0.34 million shares to close at 4.85 million shares. Out of 113 active scrips, 39 went up, 24 declined and 50 showed no change in their opening values. Lotte Pakistan PTA ended the day as leaders in volume followed by Arif Habib Securities.
Lotte Pakistan PTA, with a volume of 1.55 million shares, added Rs 0.08 to close at Rs 9.70 against its opening at Rs 9.62, while Arif Habib Securities, with a turnover of 0.54 million shares added Rs 1.03 to close at Rs 23.26 against its opening at Rs 22.23.
Services Industries was the major gainer and added Rs 7.04 to close at Rs 189.12 against its opening at Rs 182.08. Moreover, HBL added Rs 1.66 to close at Rs 101.76 against its opening at Rs 100.10. Millat Tractors had a bad day and suffered losses, as it declined Rs 22 to close at Rs 458 against its opening at Rs 480.
