His debut ‘Tere Bin Laden’ won him so much critical praise that Yash Raj Films wasted no time in signing him as second lead in ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’.
And now, Ali is one of the top contenders for the lead role in David Dhawan’s next, tentatively titled ‘Chasme Badoor’.
Considering Ali is in such high demand with the A-listers at the beginning of his career, you wonder who would sign him on next. A source says, “Ali has caught eyeballs with his debut film ‘Tere Bin Laden’. He suits the role of a romantic boy with ‘chocolate’ looks as well. Recently David met the actor in Delhi and narrated the script of his comedy, ‘Chasme Badoor’.”
The actor is apparently in Chandigarh right now, shooting for Yash Raj’s film with Katrina Kaif and Imran Khan.
He will fly down to Mumbai next week to finalise the rest of the details about Dhawan’s film.
When asked about the film, Ali Zafar says, “I have heard the narration and I really liked the script. I would be working with David. He is a wonderful person and I love his cinema.”
