LAHORE:
Three member committee of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) placed nine people including the former State Minister of Defense Habib Ullah Warraich, his son and former Chairman NICL Ayyaz Khan Nayyazi on the Exit Control List (ECL) on Thursday.
FIA Director Punjab has constituted a three member committee, comprising of FIA Additional Director Anti Corruption Circle Waseem Khan Sial, FIA Deputy Director Corporate Crimes Circle Syed Muhammad Javed Shah and FIA Assistant Director Anti Corruption Circle Muhammad Chaudhary to investigate the NICL scam. The committee contacted anti-corruption Punjab revenue department and FIA Karachi in order to obtain the record of the scam.
The accused have allegedly sold 803 Kanals of land at the rate of 2 million rupees per Kanal to NICL, whereas the market rate of the land is only three hundred thousand rupees per Kanal.
