Mel Gibson’s former girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva claims she didn’t release tapes documenting the actor’s alleged violence.
But the Russian singer, who is currently involved in a custody battle with the actor over their 12-month-old daughter Lucia, admits she wants everyone to know how much of a “bully” her former partner is.
“I’ve never leaked those tapes. I’d like for people to know the real Mel Gibson. Even though he’s rich and famous, he’s a bully. And I want other women that are in my situation to stand up to the bullies, even though it’s difficult and scary,” a website quoted her as saying.
The Los Angeles district attorney is currently in the process of deciding whether or not to charge the 54-year-old actor, who allegedly attacked Grigorieva while she had their daughter in her arms, with domestic violence.
An investigation is also underway to determine whether the 40-year-old beauty attempted to extort millions from Gibson in return for keeping the explosive tapes private, something which Grigorieva vehemently denies.
“I’m only fighting for my daughter. He needs to understand that and stop destroying me and my name,” she said.
