Govt installs clean water supply systems in Chasmai, Wali Jan Kach

In order to provide clean drinking water facilities to the residents of Chasmai village in Bannu, the government has installed a drinking water supply system comprising of 3 surface tanks and having a storage capacity of 10,000 gallons. They have also installed 2,940 meters of distribution pipelines.
According to details shared by the FATA Directorate of Information on Tuesday, the Political Administration issued orders for the provision of water supply facilities that would benefit more than 4,000 individuals of the Chasmai Village
Similarly, the government has completed a flood protection wall in Frontier Region (FR) Tank to protect the low lying areas of Wali Jan Kach village from damages caused to properties, assets and livestock by the floods. The political administration, with the support of local communities, prioritized the construction of a 168-meter long flood protection wall which would directly benefit more than 2,000 individuals of the area. It is critical to add here that the project team also comprised of locals who were actively involved in the planning and execution activities which resulted in the timely completion of aforementioned tasks.
According to a spokesman of the FATA Directorate of Information, the flood protection structure would not only protect many acres of fertile land and crops from flood damages, but would also improve the livelihoods of the people. The local elders have highly appreciated the political authorities of FR Bannu and Tank for responding to their basic needs in a timely manner and hoped that these rehabilitation schemes would significantly improve their living standards.
