Czech Republic ambassador praises Islamabad police

Czech Republic Ambassador to Pakistan Pavol Sepelak said on Tuesday that the Islamabad police have rendered great sacrifices to maintain law and order in Islamabad. He then laid a floral wreath on the National Police Martyrs Monument at Police Line Headquarters, according to a press statement.
Islamabad police also presented the guard of honor to the visiting dignitary on his arrival to Police Line Headquarters. Islamabad Inspector General of Police (IGP) Syed Kaleem Imam, SSP Headquarters Ashfaq Ahmed Khan, SP Headquarters Ashraf Shah and other police officials were also present.
Flowers beautifully wrapped in the flag of Czech Republic were placed at this monument, showing the great acknowledgement of the martyrs of Pakistani law enforcement agencies.
Kaleem Imam said that the “Islamabad police have won the laurel of success through the efforts and sacrifices of such officials and every possible effort would be made to ensure the protection of the lives and properties of citizens.” The IGP announced the names of over 500 martyred personnel. These names have been carved on the minarets of this monument.
