2 killed in road accidents

Two people were crushed to death by speeding vehicles on Tuesday while a boy lost his life after falling down from his house roof.
A speeding tractor-trolley crushed a motorcyclist in the Manawan police precincts. According to details, victim Maqsood, resident of Dogar Kallan village, was returning back home when the trolley hit him resulting in his instant death. After reaching the spot, police handed over the body to its heirs and registered a case against an unidentified trolley driver on the complaint of the victim’s brother. In another traffic accident, a speeding vehicle crushed a 12-year-old boy in Cantt police precincts. According to police, victim Rafay, resident of RA Bazaar, was crossing the road when a speeding car crushed him resulting in his instant death. Local residents overcame the car driver and handed him over to police after thrashing him in public. After reaching the spot, police handed over the body to its heirs and registered a case against the car driver.
Separately, an eight-year-old boy died after falling from his house roof in Badami Bagh police precincts. According to details, victim Tanveer, resident of Khokhar Road, was on his house roof when his foot slipped and he fell from the roof. As a result, he was critically injured and rushed to the Mayo Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Also on Tuesday, a four-year-old boy was burnt to death in Shahdara police precincts. According to details, victim Abdullah was playing in the kitchen of his house when boiled water accidentally fell on him. As a result, he received serious burn injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
In another incident, a 45-year-old man died under mysterious circumstances in Shahdara police precincts. According to hospital sources, victim Muhammad Yasir, resident of GT Road, Shahdara, ran a garments business. On Monday night, he was returning back home when he suddenly fainted alongside the road. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police handed over the body to its heirs without completing any legal formality.

  1. Only if all the learnt people join the ruling class and do not consider education as compulsory for the rest of the population, it would not help the country to grow. Country is run by mutual cooperation of government and public for which education is necessary.
