Canadian high commissioner discusses bilateral cooperation with Qureshi


The newly appointed Canadian High Commissioner, Ross Hynes called on the Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Monday.
“Issues of mutual interest came under discussion. It was agreed by the Foreign Minister and High Commissioner that bilateral cooperation may be further strengthened between the two countries especially in the areas of trade and investment,” said a foreign office statement.
The High Commissioner appreciated the role of the Pakistani community in the economy and society of Canada. The Foreign Minister thanked the High Commissioner for Canada’s support in the recent floods in Pakistan. The Foreign Minister assured the High Commissioner of full support in the fulfillment of his duties in Pakistan.
