A man was shot dead by a group of robbers on Friday. Doctors said that he was in critical condition for about nine hours during which he received four blood transfusions.
40 year old Shareef was traveling back to his village near Raiwind form Sharaqpur with his brother and 13-year-old son. When they reached Faizpur interchange, a group of robbers forced them to stop and demanded cash, cell phones and other valuables. Sensing resistance, the robbers opened fire. The injured were rushed to Mayo Hospital.
Doctors at Mayo hospital told Pakistan Today that both brothers were in critical condition when they reached the hospital. As a result of 9 bullet wounds, Shareef had lost a lot of blood. He underwent four blood transfusions but succumbed to his wounds in the morning.
