Man shot dead by colleague, accused still at large

A man was shot dead in Islamabad’s suburbs on Friday, in the jurisdiction of Koral Police Station. A police official said that 40-year old Malik Abid Fraze, son of Muhammad Bashir and resident of Mansehra, was shot dead by his colleague Muddassar at PWD colony.
Both the deceased and the accused were working as electricians. Muddassar shot Fraze due to unknown reasons and escaped from the scene, police said.
They said that the deceased received a bullet in head. Police have shifted Fraze’s body to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) for an autopsy. Duty officer at Koral police station said that they would register an FIR against the accused, after completing the legal process.
Also in Islamabad, 50-year old Nawab Khan was killed in a road accident. He was a resident of Rawalpindi and was hit by an unknown vehicle at Dohk Parach, while he was crossing road. Police informed the deceased relatives and handed the body over to the family.
