Talal Akbar Bugti demanded the arrest and a trial of former dictator Pervaiz Musharraf through Interpol, saying that his true face had unveiled before the people. He had committed unforgivable crimes against the nation, he said while addressing a press conference at Bugti House on Saturday.
He also announced 1000 acres agricultural land in Kachhi Canal worth of Rs 1 billion as head money to be given to Pervaiz Musharraf’s assassinator. He said he could not forgive Musharraf for the killings of hundreds of innocents in the Lal Mosque incident and the Balouchistan operation. Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti was also a target of his barbarity, he added.
Musharraf had rendered the country’s democratic government useless and had trampled the constitution, harming the image of the nation abroad, he said. He dared Musharraf to come to Pakistan and face a trial in the court of law if he considered himself to be a brave army general.
He said that the formed dictator had gone mad after losing power and was not resorting to using abnormal and outrageous statements to attract attention. “If his madness is not cured soon, he could become a danger for the country’s integrity,” he added. He demanded that Musharraf should be brought to Pakistan through Interpol and should be awarded exemplary punishment. Jamhori Watan Party’s leader claimed that former Brigadier (Retd) Masood Malik had agreed to become a witness to the atrocities of Pervaiz Musharraf. He also asked the Chief Justice to issue an arrest warrant so that Musharraf could be brought back to Pakistan.
