American, British diplomats condemn shrine attack

The British and American diplomats in Pakistan have condemned the attack at the shrine of Hazrat Abdullah Shah Ghazi (RA) in Karachi.
In their statements issued on Friday, a US spokesperson and the British Deputy High Commissioner in Karachi Robert Gibson extended their condolences to the victims’ families.
“The US Embassy in Pakistan condemns the terrorist attacks targeting innocent people,” said the US spokesperson.
“I was saddened by the attacks in Karachi and condemn them unreservedly. Our immediate grievances are with the families and friends of those killed and injured,” said Gibson, adding, “This was a horrific and indiscriminate incident, which has claimed many innocent lives. I share the outrage of the people of Pakistan and around the world at the continuous loss of lives endured by the people of Pakistan at the hands of extremism.”
