Pakistan handed over to ‘govt of liars, looters and cheaters’: Marriyum

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb on Wednesday said that the country has been given to a government of looters, liars and cheaters.

Talking to reporters outside the accountability court, the PML-N leader said that the current government is taking actions against her party leadership to divert the nation’s attention from real issues and its failures.

“PTI government holds a negative mindset. Nawaz was accused of seeking an NRO to deceive masses. Shehbaz was arrested to divert people’s attention from hiked gas prices,” she alleged, adding when the government was asked about its tall claim of giving 100 million jobs, it arrested former railway minister Khawaja Saad Rafique.

She further stated that the prime minister calls every other opposition leader a looter who raises a question about NRO given to his sister, Aleema Khan.

“PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif is going through political victimisation whereas the production orders are the constitutional right of Saad Rafique,” she lamented.

“Not a single penny of corruption could be proved against Rafique,” she said.
