Hag Nawaz Jhangvi was popular among masses, claims Sanaullah

Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan has said that no rigging took place in Jhang by-election, adding that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was being misguided.

Talking to media outside Punjab Assembly, he said that Sipah Sahaba Pakistan (SSP) founder Haq Nawaz Jhangvi was popular among the masses in Jhang due to which the SSP-backed candidate Masroor Jhangvi turned victorious in the recent by-polls in the city.

Reacting to Bilawal’s tweet over the victory of a banned outfit’s candidate, Sanaullah said that Bilawal was being misguided. He advised him to adopt more serious attitude instead of following Imran Khan’s path.

In response to a question about actress Kismat Baig’s murder, he said that the murder was targeted killing and four accused had been arrested.
