Lahore Zoo welcomes two new cubs


The Lahore Zoo on Wednesday welcomed another two cubs as the lioness named ‘Hunty’ gave birth to them.

According to the Lahore Zoo Management, all the cubs are healthy. The total number of the lions in the park has now reached to 16, it said.

The visitors can see the cubs after a month as the zoo staff is looking after the new family members, it said. The cubs will start eating meat after two months and a ceremony to award names to the newly born cubs will be arranged soon, it added.

The Lahore Zoo had already welcomed three members when the lioness “Kajal” gave birth to one female and two male healthy cubs five months ago.
