He paid tributes to Radio Pakistan and the Press Information Department for the pivotal role played by them in the war of 1965. He said the singers and poets through their voices and pens infused a new spirit of patriotism in the nation during that time.

Pervaiz Rashid also paid rich tributes to industrialists, traders and vendors who maintained their supply lines during the war. He said that the enemies want to destabilise Pakistan politically and economically through terrorism. He urged the nation to foil the nefarious designs of the enemy through unity.
