A local prayer leader, who married seven times in his life, was gunned down in Okara on Friday.
According to sources, unidentified assailants entered a local mosque and opened fire at the prayer leader.
Fear and panic gripped the area after the incident.
Police have started investigation, hinting personal enmity as the reason for the assassination.
