It remained partially cloudy while scattered rainfall with wind blows were observed in the metropolitan of Punjab on Sunday. As predicted by the Met Office, it remained partially cloudy most of the day while a slight breeze kept blowing all the day. According to the Met Office forecast, the weather is expected to remain the same for next two days. Drizzling was observed mostly in south Lahore. “The scattered rain is due for two more days, the temperature would remain the same, but wind chills are expected,” said a meteorologist.
The highest temperature recorded in the city was 10 degrees Celsius while the lowest was 3 degrees Celsius. About 1mm rainfall was recorded around the city. A fresh western disturbance is likely to approach on Sunday that will generate scattered rain with snow on the hills in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, North Balochistan, Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir. Isolated rain/snow is likely in northeast Balochistan (Quetta, Zhob, Kalat division), KPK, Upper Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir. Scattered rain with snow on the hills is expected in Northeast Balochistan, KPK, Upper Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.
